New York City students can see 'Selma' for free

For a period of time in January, New York City 7th, 8th, and 9th graders will be able to see Selma for free. African American business leaders in the city have teamed to create a fund that allows students to see the acclaimed film gratis if they present a student ID or a report card, Paramount announced. The opportunity will start Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. and run through Jan. 19.
