New York City May Witness Six Feet of Sea Level Rise This Century

An independent panel of climate experts has warned that New York City may witness up to 6 feet of sea level rise in the next 100 years. In the future, the region will experience intense temperature, rainfall, heat waves and flood. According to the calculation of researchers, Big Apple will have about 8.8 degrees Fahrenheit temperature rise till 2080. Owing to this rapid increase in temperature, the concentration of heat waves will double.

Experts are of the view that due to climate change, the New York City area may encounter a 6 feet rise in the sea level by the end of this century.
