New Type of Camouflage System inspired from Cephalopods developed

Scientists have developed a new type of camouflage system inspired from color-changing abilities of cephalopods. Researchers at the University of Illinois at Urbana and the University of Houston in Texas made efforts to create a flexible pixelated sheet capable of detecting light and changing color.

The study noted that black-and-white patterns are successfully produced by these devices to match the patterns of the surroundings. The best thing is that they do not require user input or external measurement to perform the task.
