According to the researchers, their new proposed telescope could be better than the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Hubble Space Telescope and would be capable of capturing 1,000 times sharper images than Hubble.

The researchers said the Aragoscope, named after French scientist Francois Arago, could create high-resolution images at low cost.
