New Technique to identify Early Signs of Mental Function Decline developed

A new technique has been claimed to be capable of identifying evidence of cognitive decline prior to the onset of future memory loss. Neuroscientists from the University of Geneva have devised the technique that is basically a magnetic resonance imaging scan to measure blood flow in the brain. The technique is remarkable as it helps determine which older adults are at higher risk of future memory loss.

The findings of the study were published online October 7 in Radiology.
