New Study Argues BPA-Lined Aluminum Cans Potentially Dangerous Too

Over the past few years, much research has gone into determining the safety of a plastic product known as BPA. This is the material that was popular for the manufacturing of drinking bottles and other plastic receptacles. Some studies indicate that plastic can leak out of the containers and into the liquids within, which then humans consume, absorbing plastic, essentially, in the process.

The latest study examines the use of BPA to line the inside of aluminum cans, suggesting that drinking a canned beverage could result in a similar absorption of BPA.
