A satellite of European Space Agency (ESA) detected a methane hotspot at Four Corners region. The region is located in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona. Since the detection of the hotspot, it is still a mystery for scientists.
Now, the New Mexico Environment Department has also joined the teams that have already started studies to know what caused hotspot in the region. According to reports, the department has decided to host a forum on April 17 to discuss the consequences to the environment of obtaining fossil fuel.
