New Jersey neurologist's license revoked over having sexual contact with patient with brain injury

The state's Board of Medical Examiners ruled Thursday Dr. Jonathan Fellus had repeated sexual contact with a 33-year-old woman who was suffering from collapsing spells and seizures. Fellus is the chief medical officer of an international brain research foundation that he said is working with the family of Jahi McMath to revive the 13-year-old Oakland, Calif., girl from a coma.

An internationally recognized New Jersey doctor who specialized in awakening brain-dead patients from their comas — and had offered his assistance for Jahi McMath — has lost his medical license after a state board ruled he had sex with a 33-year-old patient who had suffered a brain injury.
