New HIV Infections among Children have Declined by 40%: UNICEF Report

On Friday, the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) has released a data, as per which a decline of around 40% has been seen in the new HIV infections among children between 2009 and 2013.

Though it is great news that an estimated 1.1 million HIV infection in children under the age of 15 have been prevented between 2005 and 2013, the global goal of reducing the figure to 90% is still quite a difficult task.
