New High-Quality Photos of Ceres Release by NASA

Months and months have been spent waiting for the first strong images of the dwarf planet Ceres. Now, NASA’s long wait is over with a new stunning photo of Cere’s North Pole being snapped on April 10 and released today.

The photo taken from the Dawn spacecraft gave the world the first image of a sun-soaked north pole of Ceres. According to the NASA newsletter, the picture was taken from 21,000 miles away, and shows the planet in stunning quality.
