New climate change report paints alarming future for Staten Island: 10 things you should know

CITY HALL -- Rising sea levels and torrential downpours. Heat waves and air pollution. Flooded homes and more extreme storms like Hurricane Sandy.

The independent New York City Panel on Climate Change released a report Tuesday that painted an alarming, though not entirely surprising, future for the five boroughs as temperatures continue to increase.
