New Bill Introduced To Raise Smoking Age in California

To lower the smoking rates and reduce the health care costs associated with tobacco use, California State lawmakers are planning to raise the legal smoking age from 18 to 21. For this, a new bill has been introduced in the California Senate which would limit the access of tobacco products to teens. The bill, SB 151, has been introduced by State Senator Ed Hernandez.
