Netflix exec says ‘The Interview’ teaches valuable lesson in ‘distribution choices’  

Ted Sarandos, the head of the streaming site, said that the online release of the Sony comedy ‘shows the potential when you give people distribution choices.’

PASADENA – There was a long-term silver lining in the ugly chaos over distribution of Sony’s movie “The Interview,” the head of Netflix said Wednesday during a Q&A session at the winter 2015 TCA press tour.
