MEDFORD, Ore. - Just as barbecue and picnic season kicks off, nearly 15,000 pounds of hummus and dip products are being recalled across the country. A Food and Drug Administration report says some of the items could be contaminated with a strain of Listeria.

Prepared Foods manufacturer, Lansal, Inc. has announced that as a precaution it is voluntarily recalling approximately 14,860 pounds of hummus and dip products due to concerns about possible Listeria monocytogenes.
