Nearly 1,000 Ohioans hospitalized with flu so far; second teen dies

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cuyahoga County accounts for more than one-third of Ohio's flu-related hospitalizations, as 985 people throughout the state – including 335 in Cuyahoga County -- have been admitted for treatment of the flu virus as of Dec. 13, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

A second Ohio teenager has died from the flu. A 16-year-old boy, from the central Ohio town of Heath, died Dec. 4, hours after being taken to the hospital.
