NBC's Williams has some industry support amid criticism

Perhaps, it's professional empathy. Or just plain refusal to muddle into a no-win situation. But prominent broadcasters generally have come out in support of embattled NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams or have chosen to keep critical comments to themselves.
