Navy commander at Guantanamo Bay fired

The commanding officer at the U.S. Naval Station at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, has been reassigned due to a "loss of confidence" in his ability to command amid a criminal investigation, the Navy said.

The Navy, citing an ongoing investigation by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, said in a statement that Capt. John Nettleton was reassigned to the a staff position in Jacksonville, Fla.
