WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Pentagon is sending an additional 600 troops to West Africa, and health officials said Friday an Ebola vaccine is being tested. Obama administration officials on again said they're confident they can keep the Ebola virus from spreading across the country.
“The United States is prepared to deal with this crisis – both at home and in the region," said Every Ebola outbreak over the past 40 years has been stopped. We know how to do this, and we will do it again," said Lisa Monaco, U.S. Homeland Security Adviser.
