The National Center for Civil And Human Rights Opens To The Public

Atlanta is already home to the birthplace of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and currently houses several civil rights monuments and museums. Today, the city added another “must see” destination for visitors and those who are from here. The National Center for Civil and Human Rights opened to the public today at Centennial Olympic Park.

The center designed by Phil Freelon features three levels of exhibits that include everything from some of the papers of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr to a replica of a Freedom Rider bus.
