NASA’s Spacecraft Enroute To Pluto Is Due To Awaken From Its Slumber

NASA’s Pluto bound robotic space probe after nine years since its launch is due to awaken from its hibernation and begin its challenging mission; to study the outermost planet of our solar system and its home, the Kuiper Belt.

NASA’s pre-set alarm clock is to rouse New Horizons from its slumber at 3 p.m. EST on Saturday. January 15 is the d day for Pluto, its moons and other heavenly bodies lying in the solar system’s ice age like region.
