NASA’s Dawn Spacecraft starts its Approach Phase towards Ceres

In 2007, NASA launched Dawn probe on a mission to visit two giant objects in the solar system's asteroid belt. NASA announced that the probe is all set to approach to the dwarf planet Ceres.

As per the scientists, Dawn is nearing Ceres. As of December 1, the NASA probe was around 745,000 miles away from Ceres.
