NASA’s Dawn Probe to make First Visit to Ceres

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) had launched its space probe, Dawn, in 2007 to study Vesta and the dwarf planet Ceres. According to reports, the probe is about to reach the end of its journey and make the first rendezvous with Ceres.

According to the United States space agency, its Dawn probe is bearing down on Ceres and on Friday, the probe will be captured by its gravity. As per the reports, the probe had traveled about 3 billion miles to reach the largest object in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.
