NASA is searching for new ways of dealing with climate change.

NASA’s Orbiting Carbon Observatory, Version 2.0 (OCO-2), which is set to be launched on Tuesday morning, aims to provide more conclusive evidence in the debate on global warming by measuring the Earth’s carbon cycle of sources and “sinks” for exchanging CO2 with the atmosphere.
