NASA on Thursday launched four identical spacecrafts to understudy and transmit information about the magnetic fields interchange between the Earth and the Sun in a $1.1 billion two-year mission that would provide insights into space weather and ultimately benefit the Earth and her peoples.

Unmanned, the Atlas rocket and NASA’s Magnetospheric Multiscale spacecraft lifted off into the sky on the precise time assigned for the launch, and this was witnessed by hundreds of people cheering and applauding the successful launch.
