NASA Announces Launch of Most Accurate Moisture Tracking Spacecraft SMAP

NASA has just announced the launch of its new Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) spacecraft, which will take place on January 29th in California. The U.S. space agency is saying that the mission will do wonders to help combat the effects of drought in order to assist farmers and scientists in preparing better for the environmental hazard. So California may be the best place to launch this spacecraft.
