N.J. budget shortfall grows to $800 million

Governor Christie and lawmakers have just two months to close a budget gap that now stands at more than $800 million thanks largely to missed income tax revenue projections.

Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff announced the new revenue shortfall late Monday, and said more details will be released when he appears before lawmakers on May 21 and 22.
