‘Mysterious Mekong’ has a Lot of New Species to Offer

The great Mekong region, wherein already 2,077 species of various animal and plants have been discovered since 1997, has more to offer. To add on to this number, 300 more species have been discovered in the time span of 2012-13.

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) released a report, tilled Mysterious Mekong, to mark this World Environment Day. This report was the fruit of two-year exploration in this region.
