YANGON, Myanmar – The government says Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi has returned to the country's capital after a brief illness following her visit to the United States.
Government spokesman Zaw Htay said she returned Thursday to attend a regional parliamentary assembly. Suu Kyi was suffering from weakness and exhaustion after returning from two weeks of travel to the United States and Britain.
