Who: Participants in the Providence Heart to Start program. Heart to Start is a free program that includes training plans, health advice, weekly group workouts and competitive events. People of all abilities are encouraged but not required to enter the races (see details below).

Though the program culminates with a walk/run event in February -- American Heart Month -- its online resources are always available. The downloadable training templates outline workouts that can prepare walkers and runners for events year-round.
