Pennsylvania-based Murry's has recalled 31,689 pounds of gluten-free breaded chicken products due to fear of bacterial contamination. The United States Department of Agriculture has issued a press release confirming the recall of chicken products due to Staphylococcal entertoxin contamination risk.
The Colorado Department of Agriculture team found the contamination during inspection at Federal Emergency Response Network lab. Consuming the product can result in food poisoning within 30 minutes. The bacterial infection can lead to vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea.
