Syracuse, N.Y. -- While a huge nor'easter gets ready to pound the East Coast, Syracuse is starting to get some light snow.
The center of this nor'easter is well out to sea, which means it's too far east for much snow to fall as far inland as Central New York. Syracuse will end up with 1 to 3 inches. Areas to the east and south, including Cooperstown, could get up to 5 inches. The Catskills could get a foot.
