Stay away, stay away. "Jupiter Ascending" is a botched exercise in computer-rendered lizard men, ridiculous levitation boots and dramatic inertia. While it's long on explosions, it lacks the best special effect of all, a solid story.
It was written and directed by the Wachowski siblings, who earned our respect long ago with "The Matrix" but have become synonymous with failure ever since. If their new project is not the worst film in the galaxy, it is a formidable front-runner in the race.
