MMR Vaccine and Autism Not Linked, Says New Study

A study published on Apr. 21, 2015 in the Journal of the American Medical Association concluded that there was no "harmful association" between the MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, and rubella combination) and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

The study examined the medical records of 95,727 privately insured children, some of whom have older siblings with ASD and therefore have a higher risk for ASD.
