Researchers from MIT have developed a 3D-printed robot that self-assembles when baked. The research was carried out in the lab of Daniela Rus, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT.

In the MIT lab, researchers created self-assembling bodies that fold when heated. The team has even presented two papers explaining robot baking process at the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation.
