Middle school football unlikely to cause short-term brain damage

A new study has found that children who play football in middle school do not suffer from any major short-term brain damage from repeated hits to the head.

But a doctor with expertise in pediatric brain injuries, however, raised question over the findings of the study, saying its small size made it hard to draw definitive conclusions.
