Michigan governor released from hospital after 4 days

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder was released from a hospital Monday, four days after being admitted for a blood clot in his right leg related to an Achilles tendon injury he suffered last month, his spokeswoman said.

The 56-year-old Republican has some travel and activity restrictions, but was "doing good" and still planning to present his budget proposal to lawmakers on Wednesday, Snyder spokeswoman Sara Wurfel said in an email.
