Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder released from hospital, 'responding well' to blood clot treatment

LANSING, MI -- Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder has been released from the hospital after spending four nights under observation for a blood clot in his previously injured right leg.

Snyder is "doing well and responding well to the treatment," spokesperson Sara Wurfel said Monday morning, noting he had been officially released less than an hour earlier.
