Michigan gets $5.5 million to provide rental assistance for low-income disabled

The Michigan State Housing Development Authority and the state Community Health Department will administer the funding together, state officials said.

"This grant will help connect hundreds of low-income adults with disabilities to permanent affordable housing and the supportive services they need for a quality life," said Wayne Workman, acting executive director for MSHDA, in a statement.
