Michael C. Hall will come back to the Broadway stage one month from now when he accepts the title part in the Tony-winning restoration of John Cameron Mitchell’s “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.” This is considered as Hall’s initial Broadway musical part in 10 years, having featured in productions of “Chicago” and “Cabaret.”
Hall will substitute Andrew Rannells, the star of “Girls” and “Book of Mormon,” who made his first appearance as the transgender rock singer in August when Neil Patrick Harris left the show.
