What are your thoughts on the next wave or next great player? I don't really see that person. Is it because the Big 3 have been so good for so long that the bar is set too high for us?

Tennis fans have been fortunate to witness a long period of incredible tennis, with several of the greatest-ever players at or near their peaks at the same time. Now that Federer and Nadal are fading ever so slightly, mostly because of wear and tear, I wonder if another player on that level can emerge. Murray is a very fine player and apparently a fine man, but he's just not quite on the same plane as the Big Three. It would be great to have a true serve-and-volley artist arise, but chances seem slim.

Djokovic will be 29 years old in May. His decline will have already begun. Tennis players don't win grand slams much after 29. Look how Nadal's (turning 30 this June) performance dropped so precipitously - its just how it happens in tennis.I say this as a great admirer of all that "Joker" has accomplished.

Aggressive players that favor coming to the net. There are no top ranked players that use that style today. Pete Sampras was probably the last great player that played serve and volley successfully.

Possibly one of the best athletes in the world. So glad Serena won the ESPN Athlete of the Year award that finally recognize tennis as a "real sport" It's not always all about football, baseball, and basketball. How many sports nowadays is there a true mono a mono competition.....no team, no subs, hardly ever a time out, no waiting in the outfield for a fly ball, and no one but you to achieve victory. Tennis is underrated and under appreciated for the incredible talent it takes to play and win at this level. Go Novak!
