A very tough week came to the lives of the Small family. The devastating news has been sent out on Tuesday, April 7 when Madison Small, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Small, experienced a sudden death. On Friday, April 10, Ashburn public health officials confirmed that Meningococcal Meningitis, an infection of the tissues obtained from viruses, bacteria or fungi, may be the cause of Madison’s sudden death.

Madison is an 18-year-old student and senior team captain at Broad Run High School in Ashburn.
