Men Less Likely To Get Screened For Osteoporosis Than Women After A Fracture

According to the latest research, elderly men receive osteoporosis screening and treatment less than the women when they had a wrist fracture.

Researchers report that osteoporosis is mainly considered as the disease of older women but up to one in four men of ages 50 and above break a bone due to the same condition. They further reported that more than 2 million American men have osteoporosis.
