A new study has found that medical identity theft incidents are on rise. The Ponemon Institute said in its fifth annual survey that this type of theft is considered to be one of the most costly, confusing and dangerous types of fraud.
In 2014, medical ID theft increased 22%. In fact, more than 2.3 million adult Americans have become victims of identity theft during or before 2014. Experts affirmed when the theft takes place then it become difficult to solve bills and spoiled medical records.
