The measles outbreak at Disneyland over the holiday has prompted a massive nationwide conversation about the importance—and dangers—of childhood vaccinations.

“It’s pretty ubiquitous now throughout the county,” comments Dr. Eric Handle, Orange County public health officer and pediatrician. “Clearly, we have an unprotected population that needs to be immunized to halt the spread of the disease.”
