McDonald’s is closing hundreds of its restaurants as the sagging economy and the many competitors out there have taken its toll on the fast-food giant. The golden arches came down for 350 of the McDonald’s restaurants already this year, but there are 700 locations on the chopping block all together, so another 350 McDonald’s will disappear.
The McDonald’s locations slated to go are in the U.S., China and Japan. As MSN Money suggests on April 22, while the 700 stores closing are just a drop in the bucket compared to the 32,000 McDonald’s globally, this large number of closings does show how aggressive McDonald's is getting when it comes...
