Mazda unveiled new versions of two of its most important car models in the U.S. on Tuesday night, adding relatively subtle tweaks to both its compact and midsize for 2017.

Both of them, the Mazda3 and Mazda6, get what Mazda calls "G-Vectoring Control," which uses steering, accelerator and suspension so that drivers don't need to steer as aggressively. And the cars are quieter because more sound insulation and better weatherstripping have been added.
