Massive asteroid 2004 BL86 to fly-by earth Monday night

A massive asteroid is expected to fly-by earth on Monday night, but will only be seen in certain parts of our planet. Only people in North America and Europe will be able to spot the traveling rock. The asteroid to fly by Monday has been dubbed 2004 BL86, and it will be the largest of its kind to get closest to the earth.

Scientists have said 2004 BL86 is half a kilometer wide, the biggest among the previous asteroid visitors to our skies. The previous ones have measured in the range of 50-100 meters wide.
