Mass killing of starfish identified as virus

The Starfish or Sea Stars first came into notice of the scientists when the clan started dying in mass in the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans last year. Scientists pointed them as not actually fish and eventually their harmless presence didn’t inspire the scientist group until the Starfish started dyeing.

Upon research it was learnt and reported in the media that the reasons behind the mass dying was “sea-star wasting syndrome” (SSWD). The starfishes were into goo due to the syndrome which also included slow detachment of their arms, have not been pretty.
