Marine Mammals can face Arrhythmia during Deep Diving: Study

As per a research by the University of California, Santa Cruz, marine mammals like seals and dolphins can face the problem of irregular heartbeats when they deep dive in search of food.

The study researchers were of the view that they have evidence of cardiac rhythm complications in Weddell seals and bottlenose dolphins. The researchers said that the problem takes place as they hold their breath during deep dives.
