Marijuana Finally Legal to Use For Medical Purposes in Georgia

Finally, Gov. Nathan Deal has decided to sign a legislation on Thursday for legalizing use of marijuana for medical purposes in Georgia. Though the effectiveness of the plant has already been proven through various studies for cancer, sickle cell disease and other problems, there are still a lot of hurdles for patients who intend to carry out treatment through marijuana.

The House Bill 1 took effect immediately legalizing the patients suffering from cancer and other disease to own 20 ounces of cannabis oil of physician’s prescription.
